Dr. S. Tween Low MBBS FRANZCOG MRMed
Dr S. Tween Low is a female obstetrician and gynaecologist.
Dr. Low graduated from University of Melbourne in 1994 and commenced her internship training at The Canberra Hospital in 1995.
She was accepted into obstetric and gynaecology training in 1998 and obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2005.
In 2003 Dr. Low spent a year in Liverpool Hospital in New South Wales as the laparoscopic fellow in pelvic surgery, before returning to Canberra to take up the position of senior obstetric and gynaecology registrar. She continued to hone her skills in laparoscopic surgery and at the same time developed her interest in the management of infertility and high risk obstetrics.
Dr Low was appointed staff specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology at The Canberra Hospital in 2006, working in the Fetal Medicine Unit looking after high risk pregnancies and providing antenatal screening.
In January 2009, she established Capital Reproductive Health to provide a private gynaecology service for the women in Canberra.
Dr. Low is accredited by Genea as a fertility doctor to provide artificial reproductive treatment.
Nowadays, Dr Low divides her time between her public hospital appointment and a successful private practice. She specialises in periconceptional medicine, infertility and performing surgery for endometriosis.
As a lecturer of ANU medical school and training supervisor, she also teaches medical students, midwives and obstetrics & gynaecology registrars.
Dr Low speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.
